Naming ceremony, performed by Mrs E Ashley Roberts President Eastbourne Ladies Lifeboat Guild, of RNLB Charles Cooper Henderson Dungeness 9th Sept 1933. Charles Cooper Henderson was launched 171 times, saved 63 lives and took part in the evacvuation of Dunkirk in 1940. She was moved to the the reserve fleet in 1957 where she served for a further 18 years before being sold in 1975. She was later acquired by Peter Larkin who converted her to a cabin cruiser at Hampstead Marina, Yalding.
