Broad Oak Lodge, 10 Shall Oak Road, Broad Oak, Canterbury, CT2 0PS. In the first world war Broad Oak Lodge became a privately run convalescent home for officers. The property belonged to Lord Milner, then secretary of state for war. After the war Broad Oak Lodge was demolished completely and a pair of fine semi-detached houses were built on the site, still known as Broad Oak Lodge.
